The Oslo-based black/death metal act NAUMACHIA (originally from Poland), finally returns on stage with a fresh new line up. The new drummer Anders Johansen replaced Łukasz “Icanraz” Sarnacki (Hermh, Christ Agony). After releasing two albums with Empire Records (Wrathorn, Callous Kagathos) and a third one with Witching Hour Productions (Black Sun Rising), Naumachia is currently looking for a new label and they are working on a new album which is going to be recorded in the end of 2012 in Hertz Studio, Poland (Behemoth, Vader). Naumachia has just launched a new website, prepared by Michał”Xaay” Loranc, known for his collaboration with Behemoth, Nile and Kamelot. The band comments on their current status and plans: “We are very excited about composing new material. First effects are very promising. This time we are spending more time in our rehearsal room working together on arrangements. This gives us more possibilities and makes us better prepared for studio. We hear and feel the music better in every step of creation and we play the songs and riffs in many different ways to pick the most satisfying version. Our new drummer brings a lot of fresh energy, which will definitely influence the new songs. Originating from Wroclaw, Poland’s The Sixpounder after the successfull 2011, releasing debut album „Going To Hell? Permission Granted”, reaching final round of national TV talent show (where The Sixpounder’s singer Frantic Phil was trained by Nergal, leader of mighty Behemoth), playing Wacken 2010 and touring intensively – has inked a deal with Universal Music. First outcome of this cooperation will be re-release of „Going To Hell? Permission Granted” at the end of February.

Soon after, since March 10th, The Sixpounder will take part in Blitzkrieg VI tour, headlined by VADER. Both bands will be joined by Resistance (BEL), Calm Hatchery and Eris Is My Homegirl.

Recorded last year „Going To Hell? Permission Granted” includes 12 songs of highly addictive alternative groove metal and cover version of Slayer’s “Bloodline”. The Sixpounder call themselves “combination of rock’n’roll ghost with metal specter” – this means highly energetic, modern guitar sound full of Pantera and Lamb Of God dynamics, yet enriched with melodies bringing to mind In Flames.
The album was produced by Jacek Milaszewski (Acid Drinkers, Hunter) in Chimp Studio.

BIOGRAPHY:
Paul’s composing skills and Phil’s lyrical talent in the year 2008 made what you know today as The Sixpounder. The sound of this band was branded by the fans themselves though and it is supposed to be somewhat of a „mixture of rock and roll and metal”. What it basically means is that it is likeable even by people who openly admit to dislike heavy music. For them, as band members, it has always been the same – giving the best that they have to offer either on or off stage! They music was appreciated by both the jury and the fans and it seems pretty rewarding for a young metal band. In 2010 they have won the Wacken Metal Battle polish eliminations and that gave The Sixpounder the opportunity to perform on the most prestigious metal festival – Wacken Open Air 2010. It was also the first time they had a chance to perform in front of an international audience. Soon after the band focused on recording their full-length album. „Going To Hell? Permission Granted” includes 12 songs of highly addictive alternative groove metal and cover version of Slayer’s “Bloodline”. The Sixpounder produced 3 videos themselves (last one reaching the level of 10000 viewers in just one week), played big tour with Acid Drinkers, supported Behemoth and just confirmed another tour with Vader. Band’s lead singer, Filip Sałapa has reached the finals of Polish most famous talent show – “The Voice Of Poland” – and has been trained by Behemoth leader, Nergal.

33 bands representing polish rock-metal scene will take part in charity tour “Covan Wake The Fuck Up Tour 2012” to help Adrian “Covan” Kowanek (ex-Decapitated singer) – the victim of a tragic car accident.

The tour will start on 19 January in Pod Palma club in Rzeszow and will finish on 28 January in Kwadrat club in Krakow.  This final concert will be narrated by the famous

satirist Adam Grzanka from Chatelet cabaret.

Due to the huge interest in this tour 2 clubs were changed for the bigger places. It concerns Torun (Lizard King club) and Poznan (Pod Minoga club).
Pre-sail tickets in price of 20 PLN. will be available from 19 December.
Those, who won’t be able to buy the ticket in advance can buy it on the day of the show in price of 30 PLN.

During the gigs there will be a merchandise sale of a special Covan Wake The Fuck Up collection.
Total income from these sales and ticket sales is going to be transferred to directly to Adrian’s family.
All the shows will start at 18:30 except Warsaw, Torun and Gdynia, where the gigs will start at 17:30.

At the same time Creative Music wish to thank everyone, who was interested in this unique tour, who wanted to take part in it.
Of course, because of different reasons it was impossible to accept all the bands, mostly because of time limit and huge amount of volunteers.

Picking up where they left off with their praised 2010 full-length debut, Ritual Ascension Beyond Flesh, the new book of hymns, O’ Hell, Shine In Thy Whited Sepulchres, redefines and magnifies ENCOFFINATION’s signature low-end funeral doom wrapped in the pure stench of death. Based on Ghoat’s own experiences of working in the funeral industry, O’ Hell, Shine In Thy Whited Sepulchres is a concept album… not in the linear sense, but abstract; from the death of the human form to the sacrifice of flesh into the Earth. Each members’ tracks were recorded in their individual home states this Summer — the drums in Cooper, Texas (ElektroSound) and the guitars, bass and drums in Atlanta, Georgia (Graf Yairden). Each track was recorded in the total solitude of the individual members; another excursion into the abyss of death, invoking total incarnation of funereal reality.

From these combined sessions crawls forth the depraved, suffocating, and incredibly eerie forty-minute O’ Hell, Shine In Thy Whited Sepulchres, and album that will slam the coffin lid on the 2011 calendar year as one of the most crushing releases of the year, in pure ENCOFFINATION fashion.
